I don't know about you, but I honestly became overwhelmed with all the crafty and creative ways to decorate this holiday season. It could have also been because I have a mini obsession with Pinterest but who doesn't. When I hit Black Friday a little too hard this year, I knew I had to be careful on my holiday wrapping supplies expense. I decided to go the cheapest route and picked up a couple of newspapers when I was at my local grocery store. The next stop was to my local Michael's craft store. Little did I know almost all their holiday decorations and supplies were on sale, big time.
The first thing I saw when I walked in, was a display of gift tags. I picked up a set of classic brown homemade gift tags and a gold metallic pen. I attempted to look for pretty burlap ribbon, but all the good stuff was gone however in another area of the store I found perfect assorted ribbon stack sets. All the ribbon was 70% percent off so I got two different stacks. Lastly, on my way to check out, I walked by bins of different shiny color wrapping paper. I picked up a shiny gold one but quickly put it back when I saw the solid white 'craft' paper. And there you have it, all my supplies for wrapping my gifts and my total was under $20. Let the creativity begin!
