If you haven't been to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Nevada, take my advice and add it to your bucket list. I just so happen to live less than thirty minutes away, and it only costs $7 per vehicle to enter the area. Not bad at all for what you're about to experience up close and personal.
The red rock formations are so unbelievably gorgeous that it looks like someone pulled down a drop back screen. The views were overwhelming with beauty that I couldn't help but sit in silence to take it all in. There's a one-way 13-mile scenic drive that is highly suggested should you wish to explore the area at a more relaxed state. Along the way, there are beautiful view spots and if your lucky, you can spot critters and animals. There are miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and much more!
